Step 1
Hunters: Find the vegetation you want to use and clip some of the greens. This is where the scent is strongest; for example, leaves, pine needles, corn kernels, acorns, etc. This unit is not intended to be used with rocks or sticks.
Fishermen: Follow the preceding steps using your secret ingredients (such as shrimp, minnows, fish pieces, etc) instead of vegetation.

Step 2
First, attach blade assembly to mixing chamber. Second, you need to chunk up pieces so they are small enough to fill the mixing chamber up to the middle of the blades. Third, fill 4 or 6 oz. bottle of water and pour into mixing chamber.

Step 3
Place filter in filter chamber. Next, attach filter chamber to mixing chamber. Then, screw 4 or 6 oz. bottle (empty) to threaded end of filter chamber. Make sure all parts are tightened until just snug. (Tightening down more than snug will crack filter and mixing chambers.)

Step 4
Attach entire assembly to the motor base, rotating clockwise, until threads are completely seated.

Step 5
Once assembly is locked on tightly, you will need to set the base on flat surface. Hold onto filter chamber and push the "On" button. Then, hold button for approximately 15 seconds to blend mixture.

Step 6
Let off start button and wait until motor stops completely. Unlock blade assembly from motor and turn over until bottle starts to fill with liquid. Breaking the seal between the mixing and filtering chambers can be done to increase the flow into the bottle. Unscrewing the bottle slightly from the filtering section can also increase water flow.

Step 7
After bottle is full or flow of liquid has stopped, you can then unscrew bottle from filtering chamber and attach nozzle. You have successfully created your own "tailor-made" scent.

As an alternative, hunters could scoop dirt directly into filter section and pour water over the top. Then, stir slightly allowing water and dirt to mix and drain into attached bottle. This creates a simple earth scent.
